DAAL KACHORI
Kachori is a spicy stuffed deep-fried snack originating from the sub-continent. It is too delicious and very light on the stomach.
Ingredients:
For mixing:
Flour
(stained): 2
cups
Salt: As
per taste
Butter
or butterfat (Ghee): 2 tablespoons
Oil: To fry
For Filling:
Green
Gram split (Boiled): 1 cup
Red
pepper crushed: 1
teaspoon
Coriander
crushed: 1 teaspoon
Roasted
and chopped white cumin: 1 tablespoon
Salt: As
per taste
PROCEDURE:
- Mix flour, butter, or butterfat (ghee) and salt in a bowl and knead with lukewarm water.
- Grind the filling ingredients in a blender.
- Make small round balls of kneaded flour, spread them by hand and fill the mixture in it and make them small round balls again.
- Keep them aside for 10 minutes.
- Now, heat oil in a frying pan and fry them until turn golden brown.
- Remove on absorbent paper and serve.
