CHICKEN WHITE KARAHI: AN EASY RECIPE OF VERY DELICIOUS CHICKEN WITH A CREAMY TEXTURE - BY HOW TO COOK
Chicken White Karahi: Purely Pakistani chicken dish and is usually served with naan or chapati.
- Chicken:
½ Kg
- Onion
paste (If you like it); 4
tablespoon
- Yogurt: 200
grams
- Ginger
paste: 1 tablespoon
- Garlic
Paste: 1 tablespoon
- Green
Chilli paste: 4 to 5 tablespoons
- Coriander:
1 tablespoon, dried,
- Black
Pepper (Crushed): 1 teaspoon
- Cumin
(crushed): 1
tablespoon
- Mixed
Spices (Garam Masala): ¼ teaspoon
- Cream: ½ cup
- Oil: ½ cup
- Salt
as per taste:
Garnish:
- Green
coriander: half a lump
- Ginger
(chopped sticks): one piece
Procedure:
1. Take oil in the saucepan and fry onion pastes in it for 5 minutes.
2. Add garlic ginger paste and cook it for two minutes.
3. Now add chicken and fry for 4 minutes or till light golden color.
4. Add yogurt, cumin, coriander, black pepper, mixed spices, and cook for 2~3 minutes
5. Add a cup of water, cover it and cook on high heat till the chicken is done.
6. Finally add cream, mix it well and add green chilies
7. Cook it for 5 to 6 minutes on low to medium heat.
Add a sliced stick of ginger and green coriander and take it off the stove
